12th with Mathematics. Lateral entry: 10+2 with Mathematics + 3-year polytechnic diploma in the relevant branch.
How long is BTech?
4 years (8 semesters); lateral entry is 3 years.

Is MIT University Sikkim recognised?
Yes. It is approved by UGC under Section 2(f), is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU, East Zone), and is AICTE approved for its technical programmes as stated by the University. You can verify at ugc.gov.in, aiu.ac.in and facilities.aicte-india.org.
